What's been going on

This weekend was mostly spent at home. We don't have a lot of those any more so it was nice to just stay put and let the kids enjoy the outdoors and some down time. Here is what we did to stay busy - you will see that we don't have much trouble entertaining ourselves. The Micah and Becca show is always quick to make you smile!


My mom is in Nicaragua for 10 days and so we had my dad come over for the usual Saturday night pizza. Micah talked him into playing the ladybug game. It is a fun game and Micah really likes it because for some reason he tends to win - and it is not because we let him! A typical game lasts about 15-20 mins, but this time is went about 45 mins! Let's just say the men were ready to be done. :)

Here is our darling little girl in the bathtub. While the boys were playing I gave Becca an early bath so that we could put curlers in her hair for Sunday morning. She was dumping water over her head and seeing how much hair she could get in her face. (How's come she always screams and throws a fit when I try to dump water over her head?)






With Nick being under the weather we had not been able to go see his grandparents for awhile. Sunday was the first time since Christmas that we had seen them. Grandpa had a couple of rough incidents so I think that it was good to bring the kids and brighten the mood for a few hours. Grandma loves any time that the kids bring her a book. It is hard to tell who was enjoying this more! :)


And this is Becca at supper tonight. She refused to eat with the rest of us and so she ended up sitting at the table for a long time after the rest of us. She did end up eating a good amount of her supper, but she also decided that the raspberry jello was more fun to play with than eat. She went straight to the bath tub.

This video was taken right before bedtime tonight. Nick and Becca were having fun and it was Becca's night to pick the story. The voice in the background is Micah.
