Look who's "getting married" next!

My counsin Chandra married a lovely young man named Mike yesterday afternoon. It was a beautiful wedding and a great time with family. There was the dance and the usual tossing of the bouquet and garter. Both of the kids decided to participate in all the activities and throughly wore themselves out. caught the garter. (Who knew that it could double as a head band!) He had no idea what it was, but he just knew that it was thrown practically right at him. He was quite surprised to find out that catching the garter meant that he was the next one to get married! He then stated that he was going to marry Lydia who is my counsin, but is only a few years older than Micah. We then had to explain that you can't marry your family. I think that we had him a little confused. This getting married business is tough to figure out!
