The Lord's Prayer

Yesterday when I picked the kids up from Grandma's house Grandma mentioned that Micah had said the Lord's Prayer at lunch all by himself. I kind of figured that it was just a stumbling 3 year old version of the prayer. We have been encouraging him to say it along with us on Sunday mornings in church and we have started using it after mealtimes, but we didn't think that he was anywhere close to knowing it. Last night when we sat down to supper Micah asked if he could say the Lord's Prayer by himself. Of course we said that he could and much to our surprise he said the entire thing all by himself, only stumbling over the word deliverer. It brought tears to my eyes and Nick got up and gave him a huge hug and told him how proud we were of him. Being as it was so cute we are posting a video that I took of him saying it this afternoon. (That is Becca in the background talking and hiccuping!) I guess our next step is Bible verses!
