Downloading
I realized a few days ago that it had been awhile since I downloaded the pictures of our camera. I was just taking a few new pictures every week and didn't take the time to download them to our computer. I also realized that I hadn't updated the blog in a few days, er weeks. So I am combining both efforts. Here is a brief review of what has been going on in our house for the last month!
Olivia received a Baby Bumbo as a gift. It is fun to see her sit up and enjoy the world. This was taken back in mid January so she has changed quite a bit since then!
Micah is still "in love" with his baby sister. However you can see that Olivia has more than a few concerns about her goofy big brother.
Nick's parents took us all to a local resort that has an indoor water park. It is a nice reprieve from the winter doldrums. This was Olivia's first time in a swimming suit. She seemed to really enjoy herself, but she got cold pretty quickly.
Of course, Micah and Rebecca were more than thrilled to go swimming. Last winter we were at the same resort and Rebecca was extremely timid. However after some swimming lessons she has gained a lot of confidence in the water and even went down the smallest slide - quite an accomplishment for this one!
Micah was thrilled that he was finally big enough to go down the "big" slide. He made many trips down. I think that he is going to inherit his father's sense of thrill!
When we stay in a hotel the older two end up sharing a bed. It becomes quite an ordeal when the run into each other in the night. As you can see they don't really "stay on their own side."
Happy Baby! Olivia has learned to roll and often she rolls off the blanket we put on the floor. I would rather that she stay on the blanket - she doesn't have much hair on the back of her head and I am sure the carpet isn't helping matters!
Here is our version of a Super Bowl pre-game show - wrestling with the guests! It was an exciting Super Bowl for us this year as we are Packer supporters. Micah was soooo excited that his team won! He was also excited that we got to have some friends over to play with during the game.
I love this little outfit that Olivia received for Christmas. The smiley flower on her backside just makes my day!
The easiest way for me to see how much Olivia has grown is see Micah or Rebecca hold her. They were able to hold her pretty easily when she was born, but now that she has grown and can wiggle around it isn't always so easy for them any more!
Sisters soaking up some afternoon sun!
Our dear little one all wrapped up and sound asleep. I don't think we will be able to do this for much longer so I wanted to record it.
So I think that you are all caught up with us now! Come back next month for another update! LOL! :)
